The Curtis Junior High School Improvement Plan is a written document that details our plans to improve student achievement during the 2007-08 school year.  The plan was developed by school administration and our Learning Improvement Team (Department Leaders) with input from the staff as a whole.  Parents have also been given an opportunity to review this plan and provide input to guide our efforts.

The plan is based upon policy set by the University Place School District Board of Directors which provides each school in our district with specific expectations for measured improvement.  The Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL) is the primary measure used for assessing progress in academic achievement.

Please contact us at 566-5670 or at jchamberlin@upsd.wednet.edu if you have questions, comments or suggestions on how we can improve our plan.
